This band sums up all of my musical tastes into one entity known as Opeth.

They have scattered across death metal, black metal, dark and tranquil sounds, and various jazz and classical tones embodies this strange creation of sound and beauty.

Progression is a good genre to place them in because I believe progression is the key to their sound, it has no basis or direction, it could be unpredictable and still be Opeth.

The only true defining element is Mikael's singing which is either a hate or love thing apparently, like most things in life.

Anyway, the sound inspires me to create most and I will be seeing them on their new album tour in september.

I wish more bands would visit Australia.

Oh well, hope everyone is well in this community of creativity.

Well thats a downer, uhhh... some-one-request-please?

Holidays coming up after this week...

I'm going to challenge myself to a lot of things, like getting my priorities in order,
getting fit again and also producing illustrations and creations.

I love art respectfully and I want to be a part of the world of creativity I want to live in it everyday.

Though my laziness is an excuse its time to get responsible, I shall create at least 1 piece everyday for the holidays.

Each piece will have a concept and meaningful construction or be something totally free and random.

I want to be better because I know I can be.

Well I've pretty much neglected my DA for awhile now, mainly because all I've been doing is working!

But soon I will back in the game and submitting my first works of 2008.

Sorry for those that have been checking if I have anything new, I will soon though.

I just got my first real piece of design work that I'll get paid for today which is interesting.

I also have money set aside to buy a wacom tablet so I can practice for my 2nd year of graphic design. I intend to pull off some good things this year aslong as I can motivate myself >.>
